Nuts spinning inside subframe (compliance bushing bracket)
Drivers side LCA compliance bushing bracket (rearward mount), I have 2 of the 3 bolts halfway out and spinning. (Welded nut broke loose inside subframe). (At this point, I'm trying to put it all back together)
I'm finding very mixed answers, some say cut an access hole in the subframe for a box wrench, some say cut a hole in the floor from inside.
Can anyone give me some specifics, or better yet pics of where to cut?
I found one thread showing the pass side, but I have the fuel and brake lines to contend with on the drivers side.

Are you talking about the arms for the rear align adjustment? I had a problem with those, the bolts were seized and the bushings were just spinning. If thats your case take it to a body shop worse case they would have to cut a hole into the floor to access the nut. Thankfully for me they were able to get them out.
Rear of the LCA, not rear of the car. I added that to help explain, only made it more confusing.
Same thing as this: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/eg-front-subframe-compliance-bushing-bracket-bolts-3017166/
But I'm working on the drivers side.

Cut it wherever is easiest for you to access it. Otherwise, as already stated, take it to a shop and see what they can do. That link was about as specific as you're going to get.
Just wasn't sure if there were and other tricks.
Being on the DS with the brake and fuel lines right there, I'm leary to cut thru the floor right there.

My bad on that one, yea hopefully i dont run into that problem. I had to replace my whole subframe because of the bolts on the front sway bar bracket broke on my EM1.
Well I got one bolt exposed so far. It's the one that is on top of the subframe, accessible thru the floor. The other one feels like it has a hex head on it, I'll try notching the subframe for a wrench on that one.
I've got this one soaking in PB blaster, and will try to get it out with vise grips tonight. May have to drill and chisel it out, then replace with a normal nut and bolt (hardened of course)
Here are some pics for future reference on where to cut.
Any ideas how to rust proof and patch my hacked up cuts in the floor?
