code 21 on when vtec should hit then goes away
Alright so I just did a stock rebuild on a d16z6, runs great however when I try to hit vtec the check engine light comes on, its a code 21. When I turn the car off and back on the cel is gone. I jumped the wire in the grey conector and heard the solenoid click, switched the vtec solenoid itself. Cannot find any solutions, I have searched and dont want to try bypassing anything right now. If anyone has any ideas let me know

I have searched, always check the oil level, problobly going to buy an oil pressure guage to see whats happening.
The light comes on a little above 5,000 rpm
