car shuts off randomly while driving
OK it's started to freak me out a little. never happened before until this month (it's hot outside too) and now twice my car has just turned off while driving.
vehicle is a 98 accord LX auto. recently replaced transmission with one off a bluetop H23 but the problem doesn't seem related to that, or perhaps it is?
last night it happened and i was driving down the interstate
i tried to put it in neutral and start it but she wasn't having that. had to come to full stop on shoulder, put it in park, turn key off and back on before it would start, and then it fired right up as if nothing happened.
no CEL, scanned for stored codes and there are none, I'm aware of the ignition switch recall but I don't even know for sure this is the problem. does anyone have any insight on this issue or perhaps something you did to fix it?
thanks,

that's 3 for 3. also a friend told me if the gauges go flat when it happens, which they do, then it's the ignition module/switch. guess i'm gonna print the recall and take a drive up to honda one day this week.
