Default Engine rotation

I was talking to a buddy about Honda engine rotations and how the B, D, and H series engines rotate counter-clockwise, but the F20/F22C and K-series rotate clockwise.

I don't know much about the F20C, but from looking at the K-series, does it REALLY rotate clockwise? Because the transmission location has been changed to the other side of the car, and Honda has begun putting the exhaust manifolds in the rear of the engine bay, as opposed to the B/D/H series engines. I've never inspected a K in person to be sure, so I thought I'd start a discussion.

To me, I would guess without having seen a K-series up close is that it would rotate just like the other DOHC Honda engines, but my guess would be that if you oriented a K just like the B, D, and H, they would all rotate the same direction.

transmission on one side or the other has nothing to do with what way the motor spins. it may seem like that but it isnt.

people reverse the f20 heads to be set up like the k series with the exhaust in the back and intake in front. its better because you dont have a exhaust heating up your oil pan, and your engine bay temps drop alot
