HELP! oil fouled plugs and bad compression
Help i have a 1989 Honda civic dx hatch that has the d15b6 crx hf motor.
Over the last couple of weeks i have noticed that the car wants to buck and stall under acceleration with a sever loss in power (were talking not enough power to get the car rolling under its own power from a red light) original thought it might be a fuel related issue so i changed out the fuel filter and did a fuel system cleaning complete with throttle body and intake, still same problem. next step was to check the ignition system, pulled the spark plugs cylinders 1,2,3 completely coated in oil on the thread side not the resistor. changed the plugs with new NGK plugs same problem new plugs now coated in oil. compression test on the motor shows 60 psi on 1, 60 on 2, 75 on 3, and 115 on 4.
now i am at a loss as how to continue. please help

Fix why your getting oil on the spark plugs.
This link might not apply to the HF, I've never seen a B6 head up close.

if that's not the case then you will need to take the head off to inspect the valves and the oil pan off to take the pistons out and check the rings.. (i do believe, never had to do it yet)
I'm not sure, but this may work for the valves/seals:
Crank the motor and remove the oil filler cap. Place your hand over the hole. I would assume, but may be wrong, that if your seals or guides are worn you may be able to feel it pumping as each cylinder fires. Again, I may be wrong, but it's worth a try since it only takes a min to do. Also, even if you don't feel anything doesn't really mean somethings not right. But if you do... Somethings probably wrong.
