Default lowered on stock rims?

Anyone have pictures of an accord lowered, but on stock rims? I like my OEM wheels but want to lower 1.5 inches. Are there thinner tires for a stock OEM rim? Thanks.

dam 1.5 drop is nothing. when i had mine my wheels were barely hiding in the wheel well along with camber kits all around my lip was about a 1-3 inch off the floor. i could barely fit my foot under the bumper

Thanks for replying guys! Any more pics? I have the 97 EX alloy wheels on my WAGON and hopefully it will look nice with H&R springs. I have a Ebay-mugen style front lip and dont want it scraping TOO much, lol.

if your going lower you need shocks and struts that can handle. stock aftermarket shocks and struts you'll end up replacing them in about 6 months

which combo would you recommend?
I was initially thinking to change the shock/struts later on because i've been seeing the combo of springs and shock/strut is about 700 bux.
Good advice tho thanks.

^^ what's your drop? I have stock shocks/struts so I guess I will need to replace those, yes? I have 1997 accord wagon. Since this guy is jacking my thread, I will ask the same questions...what are my options for shocks. Ive seen bilstein, KYB, and a few others. Where can I get the good aftermarket shocks like you guys have?

ive had bad experiences with cheap or stock struts unless the oems were brand new and wasnt lowered below 2 inches. my current setup is so shitty. h&r springs up front with kyb gr-2s and ebay **** on the back. every bump feels like hell but i prefer a full bodied coilover. im going with the cx racing full damper kit. the reviews are pretty good.

Alot of members rave for the koni and ground control set and also for the fact that you can choose your spring rates, price is under 1grand.

whew, 1 grand...not what Im looking for. I am thinking around $500 for 4 shocks/struts to use with my H&R springs. What else do I need to do when lowering car (my other suspension parts are near new)...not going for show or race or anything...Daily Driver FTW lol

What do you guys recommend for a drop.
is 1.5" good enuff all over?
or 2" front and 1.7" back.

Any pics of 1.5

and any pics of 2" drops?

My 91 EX came with cut springs in the rear and adjustable coil sleeves up front, rode decent. Put the rear coil adjuster sleeves in back and more bouncy now. Going to try a different setup soon to get it riding better, maybe suspension techniques 2" springs and KYBs? I get the springs cheap through work and the KYBs have a pretty good rep from what I've heard

Check Autoanything.com you should get some good shocks well below $500 or hit up the Honda-tech marketplace.
