Slicks. To be honest, not much else will be very good at off-the-line grip in a FWD chassis with that much power.

That doesn't really change the answer. Slicks or a drag radial are the only thing that will remotely keep that thing on the road.

You'll rip apart summer tires.

You didn't see any of these?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...50&diameter=15

Please realize that any of these tires would be a death wish in the rain.

RE-11 tires are perfectly fine in the rain at a legal tread depth. They're significantly better than RT-615 Azenis under those conditions. That's the limits of my personal experience.

Also, 205/50-15s on 15x8 wheels are stretched...

Join the club buddy I have spoken to a few people on here including Toyo about the same issue and on a street car how heavy your foot is will be the only thing that helps with traction.I gave up on the idea of having good traction with my car on the street and I am going with a set of street tires and a pair of either slicks or drag radials for the track.

This tires I linked (or thought I did) were all drag DOT R radials.

I know good and well most summer tires are phenomenal in the wet My KDWs are no exception.

Ah well, the link takes me to a page with every single 205/50-15, sorted by performance category.

Yeah, drag radials would certainly be interesting in the wet, especially with normal tires in the rear...

205s on an 8inch wheel are not at all stretched. The minimum for 8inch is 215.

And no i didnt see those before
