What an idiot. Either your timing is adjusted or it isn't. Who "detunes" their car to drive it then tunes it to race, LOL...? IDK, maybe I'm wrong, but I want my car running in top condition at all times. Either way, what state are you in? Around here in NC you only need a safety inspection to get by if it is older than a certain year (don't know how much, but 91 is not new enough for emissions test).

Oh Lord, may the force be with you... I lived in Seattle for a while and I had to pay $1200 to get a smog legal header installed on my IROC. Those West coast states are the WORST for that crap.

Nice! Two bumps there... I love a 383 stroker and I love a Camaro with one in it!!! I miss my IROC. Had to sell it cause I couldn't afford 6MPG on 93 with octane booster.

Wont be able to ref as I'm pretty sure, according to Federal law, a swap involving a motor older than the car is illegal. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry bro.

Live in WA and have ZERO emissions testing. Not all west coast states suck. Just CA.

Its possible as long as you got all your emissions sensors and intake/header cat there but I'm sure your a long way out from being bard or pass emissions gl best bet is finding a stock sohc and drop it in or pay fine

everything i have read says the engine must be same year or newer than the car AND have all the emissions equipment of the engine installed in the new car.

Yeah theres alot of threads ive seen with everyone saying it has to be the same year but ive also seen a couple saying that when they run the block numbers like the b18a1 itll show the block from a 1990-91 acura integra so they wouldnt know the difference so hopefully thats true.

JDMFEIN I put a link in with those pics just now for you of an old video I had on MYSPACE (Lol, yes it still exists although I haven't been on it in forever) of a pull through a couple gears (1 to drive). Not real good quality, I was trying to hold camera phone and drive... I know it's off topic, but I figured you might like it. Forgot I had it. Lost the original or I'd You Tube it.

just say the motor is a 91 since b18a1's came in 90-93 integras and you should be fine as long as all vaccuum lines are hooked up correctly and emission related items are there and hooked up and of course has to pass emissions
