I'm looking at this cat on amazon. Amazon says it fits my car. Will it bolt up?

http://www.amazon.com/Magnaflow-3663...cm_rdp_product
I would like to know if it will fit my 95 GSR with completely stock exhaust. The cat on the car is about the same length (17.65").
However, on http://www.magnaflow.com/02catalytic...irectfit=36637 it says "excludes GSR". I know I will have to get an o2 bung welded on, I'm just concerned about it bolting up.

I dont see why not. It should fit .030 of an inch diff is very little. Hell i work on apache helicopter for a living and some of the bearing and mounts we inspect daily are allowed to wiggle that much.

I see that an ARB-legal cat for a '95 GS-R lists for $465, but "Your Cost" is $267.
California officially cares about two things:
1) does the engine pass the tailpipe test?
2) are the parts compliant with California laws?
Most other jurisdictions generally only care about what comes out the tailpipe, or what shows up on the OBD-II reader. Most other jurisdictions only care that the cat is present at all.
CA residents end up getting whacked double.
Maybe it depends on whether or not they check to see if your cat is CARB-legal. A non-CARB-legal cat may work exactly like a CARB-legal cat, but that doesn't matter to the lawmakers; they want to see their imprimatur on the cat.
