There's this orange hose to the right of where the battery sits. What is this hose for?

There is a white clip that plugs up the hose opening that broke off which needs to be replaced.

Identify this hose as I am completely stumped.

 

looks like some kind of drain hose or maybe a....wow i'm also stumped

 

pull the battery tray out and see where it goes lol

 

It is just a breather hose for the vac system. It just vents air from a black box that hookes to the fuel tank and crankcase to relieve pressure.

 

I'm trying to replace the top white plastic piece that plugs into this hose.

Do you know where I can find it on this parts diagram?

The hose is illustration #64, and the hose plug that I need is #16.

Does this sound correct?

 

I would think its the condensation hose for the ac system lol

 

part 16 is correct
the peice your after could be easly got from the junk yard
it pushes into the end of the fuel vapour breater hose and
clips into the square hole in the side of the fuel filter mounting bracket
as you can see the hole in your pic right hand side middle

 

Unless you're OCD about things being perfectly OEM under the hood, that little clip is unnecessary. Just wedge the hose somewhere nearby. I have mine wedged between the firewall and fuel filter, and have for the past two years without problem.
