Icon2 Gsr trans leak

I have a 92 hatch with a boosted ls vtec with gsr tranny, Monday I decided to change the trans fluid to find out there wasn't any in it to drain. There was no metal shavings or metal on the drain plug. I put the drain plug and new crush washer on and filled it with the pennzoil synchromesh. I checked the bottom of the car the next morning and it had spots everywhere on the passenger side and oil on the shift linkage, bottom of the trans and was blowing onto the exhaust. The dust cover is off where the fly wheel is and its dry up as far as i can see and it's not leaking between the motor and trans, so i Dont think its the rear main seal. I'm not sure what year gsr axles i was told they may be from a 94 how can I find out? Also if anyone has part numbers it would be appreciated thanks

The axle year isnt going to matter unless your running DA axles, but da axles have male ends on driver side, and the 94-01 have a female end on the axle....
