Default 96 Civic A/C Issues

Okay, so after putting a vacuum on my a/c system for about an hour, I began to recharge it and after putting in 14oz of freon the high side pressure reached about 250 and the low side was about 30. I know that for a 96 EX it is supposed to take about 21 oz of freon. Anyway, I'm not entirely sure what the high side pressure is supposed to be when fully charged and was wondering what the normal high and low side pressures are when the system is fully charged and working correctly. Thanks in advance!

The outside temp was 97*F with 60% humidity and the temperature blowing out of the vents was about 57*F.

How deep was the vacuum you pulled?

Just keep adding R134a until the specified weight has been reached. At 97F, both pressures will get much higher.

Okay, I'll try that and see what happens. I don't really remember exactly what the numbers on the vacuum were but I'm pretty sure it was close to being all the way over to about where it says 30psi on the vacuum part of the gauge.
