Default Whats a good selling price?

I have a 1989 accord LX 4 door. I was thinking about selling it. Its got a ton of miles on it. 260K. although the motor was replaced about 10k ago. it has new brakes and was just tunned up. Tired are brand new. There is one little rust spot on it above the passenger tail light. As far as the inside..no kidding here, it looks like i did the day my dad brought it home new. Not even a stain on the seat. Everything works the way it should. Well, except that little green light for the "Fresh air" button doenst stay on all the time.
I have no idea how much i should sell it for.
any thoughts? oh the car was a California car up until about 2 weeks ago.

no more and no less than about $1200-1400. Those accords never die. You should just keep her and use her as a beater car for errands around town....you won't get much...

Go to www.kbb.com to find the value of your car. You should be able to get $2500. or more if you can prove to a perspective buyer the engine was replaced. Why do you want to sell it?

If you do sell it, ask for $3200. if you want $2500.

you guys are nuts.. I have a 91 LX that i wouldnt dare ask more than 1500 for... and its in good shape.

an 89 is a 500-800 dollar car.. anymore and you're a pirate. thats just the cold hard facts gentlemen. you might find a sucker, but in the real world cars are wholesale items.

here in LA, those cars never go below $1200k in decent shape. Even old 86-89 integras never go below $1000. The prices of Hondas/Toyotas hold their value b/k there are so many ppl chasing them as strange as that might seem. It's an import paradise here....literally you will see no domestics in some parking lots.
