Interested in selling/trading my 83 Accord LX Hatchback, but have some questions...
I have absolutely no idea what it might be worth. I wanted to try my hand at restoring it but I just don't have the finances or the time at the moment. I have just put in a new radiator about 6 months ago, and now it seems like the water pump might be going out. It has a slow coolant leak but runs fine other than that. Only has about 87k miles on it. The guy who had this car before me was disabled and hardly ever drove it. All things considered, it's in pretty good shape. Inside could use some work on the upholstery and door panels. Pictures to follow.
Any idea what I should ask in sell/trade? Also where I should try to sell/trade it? I got it for free from a friend and I love this car but I just can't give it the attention it deserves.
This is the original thread and pictures from when I first got the car last year.

Nice car there it looks good. Its a shame your selling it. But your choice. And your car is in really good shape. I bought an 82 civic for $400 an its in almost in the same condition as yours. Just mine has tranny problems. But looking at your car an the condition and also age. I'd pay between $1000-$1500 for that car. But thats just me. I'd say check the kelly blue book on the care, but i dont think kbb goes back that far lol. Well good look with this.

Learned to drive on a 1983 Accord. Five speed, though. I'd take this in a minute if I wasn't already in a Honda "restoration."
