Default My daily beater.

What's up guys i wanted to show yall what ive been working on lately. I sold my ep3 after i got an offer for it i couldnt pass up, and found out my buddy was selling his ej8 since he is in college and kinda fell out of the scene. When i first picked it up it was in horrible shape, paint was purple and flaking, tires had cords showing, seats ripped, stains everywhere etc. Now after some time and money i can finally start to enjoy it before i rip it apart this winter. i daily this car and just drove to NC and back with no problems! well here it is...

comments welcome good or bad.

I dig the color, reminds me of Suzuka Blue or Voltage Blue. The paint could definitely benefit from a good buff, maybe even a color sanding.

A few things that kinda kill it for me: front end alignment, fake lip, fake grill, and the painted lower grill/foglight grills in the bumper.

Nice start!

I told the painter what not to paint and he didn't listen. In the end I got the car back after the buffing and now half the clear is burnt through so he will be respraying the entire car next month. No progress on the gauges I'm moving to md this week so I been crazy busy. Anyone need wheels I'm trying to get rid of the ones on the car now!? Thanks for the feed back guys!

Very nice. It reminds me of my old EX.
The only thing I would do is paint the lower grill, fog portions, and grill insert black.
It would do wonders man

That color is awesome, I agree a back yard special front really would be nice.

I even dig the free wheels. Only thing that looks a little weird is the fitment on some panels, but thats nothing that can't be adjusted.

Also, welcome to s10 daily beater club. Ive had mine for a couple years now and it is still going strong. Needs lsx v8 swap to be perfect daily beater though.

whats up been super busy at work and have barely touched the car, i had 1 free night this weekend and started to install the new rear camber kit but the driver side sieze in the trailing arm so im stuck until i get some more cutting wheels for my right angle. but on the good news i picked up a brand new engine stand for 60 bucks!!!!

here is the old v new setup

and here is how the car sits now untill i find some time this weekend to start tearing it down

thats all for now!!
