can anyone tell me where these 2 wires go one is solid green and the other is black with yellow the plug plugs into the sensor on top of the throttle body thanks for the help.

the MAP sensor has 3 wires on top of the throttle body

 

yea there is a yellow with red, green with white, and a solid white one that is going to the map sensor but my question is what are the other two wire in the pick the solid green and the yellow with black wire for?

 

purge solenoid

 

wrong. its the evap purge solenoid mounted on the firewall

 

He asked about the sensor on top of the throttle body, which is the map sensor, I wasn't saying the wires in question were for the map sensor.

 

does that need to be hooked up to the purge solenoid if the car has an obd1 dizzy and jumper harness with obd1 p72?

he said "these 2 wires," the 2 wires are for the evap purge solenoid.

he was on the other hand misleading because he didnt start a new sentence stating that they are wrapped up in the loom that also connects to the map sensor.
