i took off my head to replace headgasket. dont k.ow where to start.
Plz help me I'm good with tool n i know Wut I'm doin. Just that it took me forever to get my money right. Sorry if I bother n e 1. but I'm kinda of a noon but I know I gotin me. Thank u all. That help.
Get a FSM, or start looking for a DIY write-up. This has been done only about a million times. We can't walk you through a head gasket replacement, especially if you don't even know where to start.
I hope you set it to tdc before taking it off....
There are many diy writeups, I didnt know how to do much of anything but I changed my headgaskst myself succesfully with the use of 5+ timing/headgasket diy's, a Haynes manual and a good set of tools. Id say even an average joe whos careful can do it, I know I did.

You took the head off? That's a good start. Next, I'd take the head to a machine shop and have it checked and resurfaced. If you don't have a gasket kit including a hg that would be another good step. Also, Haynes or Chilton, one got discontinued can't remember which, will save your life.
