B series bellhousing in d series tranny

Default B series bellhousing in d series tranny
Got a crazy idea about my B20Z auto swap into my EG, since I need JDM B16 auto tranny to stay with auto and from the info that I got is B16 auto tranny is just a D series auto tranny with different bell housing.

so I if I can just swap the bellhousing of Bseries engine into a D-series half tranny?

Anyone ever try it before?
