Default Full Race Traction Bar, Innovative Mounts, B18CR, CRX

On Full Race's website they say B-Series swaps with Hasport mounts. Not sure why they explicitly say Hasport. I have seen only a couple of issues with the Full Race bar's radius arms touching the crank pulley, but I think those were D-Series.

Additionally, I have a full size Koyo radiator, and JDM Type R headers.

So here is the list of parts I am worried about fitting together:
JDM 98 spec B18C type R with Oem headers
Innovative Mounts
Koyo full size radiator
Innovative AC adapater
**Full Race Traction Bar

**Have not bought yet.

BTW, both the Type R Headers, and the Radiator does not fit with the stock front cross member (traction bar).

I have avid mounts and the full race traction bar. It did hit the stock B16 pulley. I'm running an underdrive unit and it's fine now. Also have B-series a/c, but only one fan.

What underdrive pulley do you have? They only ones I can find are singles just for the alternator, then triples with AC and PS. I would buy a double one if I could find it, just to be safe.

I have a triple aluminum underdrive I found on ebay. Some people will say it's not balanced, but honestly it's lighter and better made than the CTR pulley. I've run both for years. I don't use the PS rib, maybe someday I'll shave it down.

just to be safe? not understanding that. i have an innovative traction bar with hasport mounts and have zero issues with the stock gsr pulley. one simple alternative is to get your stock pulley shaved down to just the alternator belt and balanced. was someone on h-t that did it, not sure if they still do

couldn't find the thread, but apparently inline4 does it

$100 plus shipping your own pulley? Or $150?! That seems high to me when you can get a new CTR/N1 for about $60.

Full Race won't be able to ship for 2 weeks. So it will take ~3 weeks to get the traction bar. I don't want to wait 3 weeks, and then have to wait to get another part because it doesn't fit right.

did you modify the bottom of your radiator? a friend of mine is using a different brand of traction bar (full-race) and he had to modify the lower part of his mishimoto full sized rad. im planning of getting a traction bar and will use a full-sized koyo rad, problem is i dont want to modify anything on the radiator.

hmmm... I have the Innovative Traction Bar and Innovative Mounts. No radiator mod needed (Running Dual Core Half Rad), no pulley mod needed.... no no no needed. All works perfect! Running a B18B Boosted with stock LS Triple pulley, but only using alternator belt.

Are you guys prety happy with the traction bar? Does it make a major difference making it worth buying for a street car?

For a boosted set up, its a must to give room and looks good. Frees up a ton of room and you can mount a half radiator without the gangster lean.

How did u mod the full race bar? Did u grind off the raised radiator mounts? And what lower radiator bushings did u use?

I'm in for information on all of this, I'm tired of my current hatch and will probably end up swapping for a CRX or wagon soon.
