Default I need ABS help

Car '96 EX

I'm starting to really get pissed off here. I seem to have the classic leak coming from the bottom of the accumulator. So I replaced the gasket that is described in this thread https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/fix-your-abs-system-%241-51-no-gimmicks-241713/. Looking at the old gasket (didn't really look bad) and where it was I kinda wondered how it would stop the leak but I went ahead and put the new one on in the same spot. I was good for a few days but of course the ABS light came back on. Check the brake fluid and of course it is empty again. There is a notch/groove in the shaft at the bottom of the accumulator. That is where the old gasket was and where I put the new one. Was that incorrect? Does anybody know how to stop the leak?

It is not a gasket. It is an O-ring.
