Saving up for a B16B motor from Hmotors. I know my 1999 EJ6 hatch is basically the same chassis (more or less). Now within the package deal they include:
- Motor
- LSD Hydraulic Tranny (S4C)
- ECU (PCT)
- Axles with Half Shaft
- Shift Linkage
- Stock Motor Mounts
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness
- Comes With All Sensors Needed
Now with stock mounts included, do they include all that I need? If I choose to keep my PS and AC, do I need additional mounts?
As for the wiring, I'd rather make it as simple as possible. The package does include the engine harness and ECU, do i need anyhing else?

You can't use the harness it comes with as it is right hand drive. You can just wire it up using a subharness or use an SI/EX engine harness.
I'll be honest though why are you going with the B16B? It's an overrated motor. At least spend the extra $100 and get the ITR B18C or spend 300 less and get the JDM B18C GSR engine and put that 300 toward engine mods. The B16B is still as torqueless as the B16A. You'll thank me later with the extra torque from the B18 motors for daily driving and practical power.

I've been debating all month on which motor I should get. The car when finished will only be used for summer/fall daily drives and be stored during winters. I will keep the motor naturally aspirated. Won't be seeing track days anytime soon. At the same time I don't want to be spending too much in overall price. After reading specs and reviews I still can't decide.
The motors I've considered:
B16A2 (cheap but the small power increase doesn't seem worth it, plus hard to find one with low miles)
B16B (expensive but easier to find with low mileage and in healthy conditions)
B18C1 (affordable but think it requires slightly more items to drop it in)
H22A (cheap but requires a lot of extras to drop in but puts down impressive numbers)
K20A2 (dream setup but expensive and requires almost same price of the motor to make it a simple drop in)
It seems the B18 is the best for my demands. Good amount of power and decent amount of torque. As for the mounts, what would I need extra?

Honestly I'd go with the C1. Use the $300 extra to buy the rear 99-00 T mount and I believe 99-00 drivers side engine post mount (bolts to the block). You'll really appreciate the extra torque and the power is the same as the B1. Stay away from the B16A in my opinion its just not as fun as the B18.

You'll have to get a 99-00 SI/EX harness, add the wires for IAB's, and wire in the secondary O2 manually to the ECU as its part of the EX/Si cabin harness. No need to go OBD1. Or you can retain your harness and do the subharness route, either one whichever works for you and your budget.
