Default 1990 civic hatch..project rat rod

to start off im doing a low budget project on this car to make it a good DD.
car price 350.00
just to let you know i have alote of parts cars on my property to help keep this build on budget
this is all the work i did on the 1st day

engine bay with head lights rewired and cold air intake....

this is a intake job done by someone who didnt know what they where doing

as you can see in the top right there is a home made strap to hold it up....why they cut away the plastic liner i dont know why...

when the head lights dont work..just wire up some new stuff...next time check the fuse box....omg

integra seat swap done wrong

was green and now red...its got to go

no carpet, ecu just sitting there

back seat just sitting there and fun stuff under the seat

mmmMMMMmmmm pizza crust

rear hatch hinge is bent and hatch needs some TLC

BEST MOD EVER...

seats out...time to scrub and clean

broken seat issues...

green over spray on brakes

cleaned crap out of front fenders...

getting ready for paint

brakes got a quick paint job

seats to replace integra seats

cleaned and ready for carpet...installed ecu cover

removed dash parts

installed a set of speakers i had

removed bad headlight and removed other lights as prep of paint

I think the nicest part of that car was the spark plug wires. Looks like you've got your work cut out for you. What kind of budget are you trying to keep?

Nice hatch man! Originally blue...looks like elbow grease and some paint will go a long way. 'Next time check the fuses' LOL

Good luck will this. Wish you guys could see what a decent EF looks like in Nova Scotia. This here condition is unheard-of.

hah, my brother got a set in pretty much that exact condition. no tears at all from a JY. Confetti version. 50$ for both, to match his blue interior in his EF CRX. guy pretty much got those seats stolen from him at that price. so make sure you sell those seats for more than 50$ because some people will pay a pretty good penny for those in that condition. hah!

Wow man way to bring it back from the dead. I think we are doomed to help these old cars be restored to at least some part of their original glory. NO matter how we find them we will fix them! Keep it up! And if yOu get tired of it I'll take it lol

haha, well done on the carpet. you convince me to do the same to my own. i'm sure in 20 years mine hasn't been taken out and sprayed down like that. though i do clean it every other weekend ... i'm sure a pressure wash from a car wash gun would do it some good. nice thinking.
