Default HID KIT 6K OR 30K? H4 Fitment

I hear A LOT of people talking about the K on their lighting.

I also hear them say that LESSER the K the BRIGHTER it is.

Vice versa

the higher the K the brighter.

so which is it?

I have 12k in my car right now.

H4, slim ballast, no Hi's, just Lows.

I'm looking for a bright beam where i can see somewhat far, and it HAS to have Hi's&Lows

I think the Hi's&Lows are H4H Bixenon?

Forgot to add car details, this is going inside a 95 civic dx sedan

I dont know that much about lights. But I know lower the K the brighter the bulb. You should try a 4k or 6k but also should think about retrofitting your headlights with projectors to get the clean beam. As far as highbeam and lowbeam you just need a bixenon kit for a H4. The H4H is for the JDM headlights I believe those are the bulbs they use. I could be wrong because like I stated I dont know much.

4300-5000k is about the brightest. 4300k is what comes on OEM HID systems, it is the closest to real sunlight in color, doesn't strain the eyes as much as higher kelvin bulbs, and is a bit brighter than a 5000k bulb. 4300-6000k is the only useful colors, any higher and you are not just reducing your vision, you are also killing other peoples vision (blue hurts).

Projectors are the BOMB. Totally worth doing a retro. IMO, cleaned up stock lights with the 9005 mod (if applicable) and a good aim is better than a PnP kit, but proper projectors is much better than both.

The higher the Kelvin the more blue it is, and the less usable light it has. Blue is also harder on the eyes than a more white light.

Check out this site a little they have pretty low prices.
H4/HB2/9003 is your bulb size, they're all the same. They also have the Hi/Low bulbs for a little more which is what you want. Get either a 4500k or 5000k for the best light color. You can also get a 55w ballast which will be brighter but can get real hot and I've heard of them melting wires.

The higher the kelvin rating the less usable output.

The general rule of thumb is 4,300k-5k for headlights and 3k for fog lights.

A 12k bulb is just obnoxious, you have little to no actual usable output.
