JDM rear strut bar stripping?
where can i get the pastic stripping that goes around the hole on the strut cover? The guy that sold me his rear upper strut bar forgot to give me this so thats why i am looking for some
You can try to get it from inlinefour, jdmhondaparts, ipsracing, etc.. but i wouldn't think they'd seperate it from the bar itself so your next best bet would be to contact honda motor co, japan and see if you can get it from them, which is also highly unlikely so if I were you I'd go to Home Depot and ghetto-style the lining.

so the spoon/mugen bars would utilize this as well? I assume that hole is cut and then you put the little trim piece in there, or is that an entirely new cover?

thanks for the info.. i'm pretty sure the spoon bar is more straight across, but i would think the mugen one would utilize this..
someone should digitize and post that template!

which bar do i need to get in order for it to come with the template?
fyi.. spelling error above... it is 'marking' the plastic... not making.

The Spoon bar also requires slight modification to the side panels to get a bit more clearance.
Actually, the Mugen bar is straighter (requiring cutting of the side panels themselves).

a similar thing could be done using this rubber trim, if you cut the side panel itself for the other bars, i would assume..

From what this guy said back in 02 it was hard to get so I can't imagine that it is any easier 5 years later, go to home depot is your best bet or buy a bar that comes with the pattern and the strip
