Okay. So I drive my car allllll the way from my house to a friends which is about 30 miles. Drove fine the entire time until I turned into his street and it died, CEL kicks on for the first time in about 2 months. Engine sounds like its turning over freely but it feels like its not getting spark or fuel. Jump the diagnostics plug and turn the key over, CEL Sstays solid. Take key out and back in again, now CEL shows code 16? What could cause something like this so suddenly?

Have the igniter unit tested and check whether voltage reaches the Blk/Yel wire attached to the coil and igniter unit.

 

How/where can I test it? I would search, I swear but it sucks to use the search functiOn on my phone.

 

You need a multimeter for the voltage test.

AutoZone will test the igniter unit.

Ah. Same diag as we did before. Last time was a burnt hole in the rotor.
