Just had to get towed home!!! Pulled into the store to get a drink after running around all day. Five minutes later came out and no start... Fuel pump comes on, click in dash somewhere, but no turn over. Never acted up before, just came out of nowhere. Wondering if the clutch has a switch because it acts like its not pushed in. Obviously it does but I don't know where it is. May be a long shot but just wondering... Any ideas?

 

It does... Above the clutch . U have to lay in there and look up .

Thanks again for the info. That was the problem. The stupid little rubber stopper dry rotted and fell out, LOL...

 

Looks like a piece of a blue crayon on the floor, lol. Never had it happen to me, but I've heard the horror stories.

 

Man I guarantee u if it's happen some like that and if it's not the main relay then that little blue rubber for sure . C'mon problem for our hatch . I'm trying to carry extra one in my car all the time and the main relay too .

 

Good idea. Where do you get 'em and how much? My brake one was bad when I bought it so I taped a piece of cardboard to the pedal for a quick fix. Got the clutch switch out and taped closed for now just so it will start. Just crammed it back up under the dash. Oh yeah, what is the damn thing called? I have no idea what to ask for. Btw, I'd like to get my hands around the neck of the Honda engineer that came up with that idea...

 

Junkyard ... I bought the whole neutral switch for a couple dollars .

 

Cool. Went out and looked awhile ago. Found the pieces of the little bitch under the floor mat.

 

Found them at the Honda dealer near my house. They have 14 in stock and they are $3.96 each. Gonna go get about four of them in a bit. Check your local dealer, you may be able to get some NEW ones since they seem to be around still...

 

Just went and got the new ones from Honda. They are MUCH better!! Not rubber anymore, looks like polyurethane. Got 4 for $15.54.
