No. We will probably never see another Type R Honda sold in the USDM. This from the mouth of a corporate Honda marketing executive. The reason, evolving US safety and emission standards that adds too much weight/restrictions onto vehicles so much so that it kills the Type R spirit. I appreciate the fact that Honda won't slap the Type R name on just any trim level car.
