ok so the time has come to convert to multi point then do mini me, what i have so far. z6 manifold port matched to gsr tb injectors and fuel rail, obd0 dizzy, and getting a ps9 ecu. that takes care of the mpfi conversion. now i just picked up a y8 head to mate on my b8 block. can someone tell me anything i need extra? im thinking of an obd0 b16 ecu. what head gasket do i use? do i need an adjustable cam gear? any other suggestions? thanx in advance
just pick up a pm6 and convert it to vtec, i believe the y8 headgasket, and someone correct me if im wrong but your gonna need to use 9 of the y8 head studs and then one b8 stud by the vtec solenoid(or 9 b8 and 1 y8)one of them 2

now the pm6 is the si crx ecu right? to my understanding that cant be converted to vtec (correct me if im wrong) i know the auto ps9 ecu can be though. and im gunna run head studs so i need to know which ones to order. i know its a custom order 9 of one and 1 of the other but i need the confirmation before i order them
Your intake manifold is ok.
What injectors did you get?
Use a d16z6 distributor and a p28 ecu. Convert to obd1 at the same time. Not sure if the y8 head will work with a z6 distributor though. Depending on where you want your compression ratio is what head gasket you use. Cam gear will be needed to properly adjust timing as the belt lengths are different.
Good luck with it though
