Default climate control issues

Hello. After searching the forum for others having issues with climate control on a 2003 Accord, I cant find the answer to my question. Nodata does not provide the method for clearing DTC's for the climate control system. One of the first steps in diagnosing my code (mine is "N") is to clear codes and see what sticks. Does anyone know how to clear these codes without a Honda tool? My car has no blower at all in any settings. Thanks.

Many times body control codes, HVAC codes and the like can only be cleared with a factory scanner or a scanner with the ability to access said modules...

If your vehicle has no blower settings at all your problem is most likely with the blower motor power transistor or the blower motor itself. Put your blower speed on any setting and smack the blower motor. Usually if there is a problem with the motor when you smack it it will jar the contacts and make the motor work for a short time. If you need a transistor click the link for a great source of cheap, great quality refurbished transistors. The one I currently have for sale will fit your model Accord. http://myworld.ebay.com/hondatech83
