Just wondering if any of you guys can't stand some of the typeR guys sometimes. The type R is definitely king of the teggy's but come on...some of them can't even give a compliment when they see a nice teg. IMO, I would respect and admire a well built teg that the owner spent time, money, sweat and blood to put together, over a Type R that the factory built. I love type R's, I've driven them and they are bad ***...but I am seriously getting sick of hearing..."it's still not a type R...it's just a GSR." Well, i'm not venting here; just trying to stand up for this guy who posted his GSR converted R for sale in the TypeR forum. He has one very nice car...and I do mean very nice...something that any car enthusiast should value more than a typical R. Just my 2 cents. Peace. O, majority of the typeR forum guys are cool...i'm just talking about a few.

 

Hey man, it sucks but the same thing happens to us LS owners. "Well, it's nice but it's still just an LS." It bugs me when people think VTEC is everything.

True, but that red GSR does have Type R stickers on it....But I do admit that it is nice. I have one of the pics as my desktop background.

IMO, the only pure and true teggy lovers are the LS owners. If you're an LS owner and you love your teggy beyond belief you would appreciate the entire line of integras...because you know that you have the lowest model and it can only get better....soooo, you have love for the entire integra line. Now, if you're a typeR owner you'll probably hate driving anything less and so you wouldn't appreciate the entire integra line. Something that we all should remember,...yes, the GSR is better than the LS and the type R is better than the GSR...but in general the 3rd gen teggy is a well built car period.

 

I agree...it shouldn't have the typeR stickers on..but that's not the issue that i'm addressing. Those typeR guys are not saying "take off the stickers" for his sake..they are saying it to devalue his car, since it's still not a type R...that's the problem.

 

I own an LS integra too.

I've driven a GSR and it was a bit quicker than my LS.

Never driven a Type R before though, so I can't comment, but I'd like to own one day

I hate it when somone posts a good time/dyno in an LS and people rag on it because its not "VTEC yo!"

 

There are a lot of a**holes around and it so happens that a few of them also drive TypeR's. You think that's bad, you should go to the s2000 forum sometimes and see how a few of them talk about all other hondas.
