Rebuilt Honda Engines in Cali?
Hello Im in Modesto Ca
I wanted to know if there is a shop that has rebuilt Honda engines with Honda parts?
Is there a shop in California that does this?
Long Blocks/ Short blocks/
I'd prefer to look for a D16A6 but will take a D15B1/2/7.
I have 2 D15 blocks collecting dust.
Thanks.

Craigslist, Seriously???? i doubt i'll find a good rebuilt honda motor with authentic Honda parts on Craigslist. I find Craigslist riddled with liars.
well if you want a rebuilt engine with all oem part than you best bet is to look through forum and buy one from a honda enthusiast and that might cost $$$
If you're so worried about OEM parts go buy an engine from craigslist and rebuild it. That's literally about your only option. Or go to an importer and buy one of theirs and rebuild it.
just go to attarco and buy a zc motor bro. works the same and a lil more stronger for the win!!!! swap it in and will still pass smog since its a direct replacement motor. save yourself the headaches
I would get a 'ZC" sohc, but what is stoping me is that i eventually run in the Honda Challenge H4: and ZC engines are banned from H4 Class.
The ZC engines are legal for H2/H1 which i don't want to run. If that was the case, i'd rather get a rebuilt D16Z6 or D16y8 and get bump to H2/H1.

The reason most people don't say that is most likely due to most smog shops being retarded and just going for it without checking the engine stamp. So it's worth a shot if you're swapping in something crazy to just try to do it without a BAR cert. first but expect to need one eventually.
This is too far off topic though.

Not 100% true, ANY engine swap, no matter if it's a direct replacement or not, has to be certified through the BAR before it can be smogged... Trust me.
