Default B16 engine block, bad or good?

Hey!

Got a b16 engine from the scrapyard yesterday and took the head of and saw this "cracks" on the outside of the cylinder sleevs (see picture). The cylinders are round and still have the factory honing left! So my question is do you think i can boost with this? Gona go 14psi on E85.

br, Jesper

Yes, I have... For your low goals (I assume smaller turbo, as PSI means NOTHING) it will be more than fine. They just started to corrode at the top of the coolant jacket. I would have it decked and commence with the build. If you are worried about it then find something else.
