Default My H2B build

Here’s my h2b build. Original plans were to make prelude racecar, but I always had this little voice in my head telling me to go h2b (power weight ratio/ parts availability/cheaper). Local deal came up and I grabbed it.
Plans are to put my h23 from the prelude in the civic. Civic will be used for Drag racing and autox.
Engine is
h23 blue top/pro1 cams.
It made 235whp/183tq on the prelude, curious to see how it does in an h2b eg.

This engine needed a rebuild after it ate through rockers/cams and ****ed up the bottom end. Meanwhile I dropped a stock blue top in the prelude and rebuilding the other motor for the eg.
Got me another crank from rosko, a line hone, and balanced the whole rotating assembly.
on to pics

Painted engine bay and complete interior flat black rattle can.

Engine ready to be completely assembled.

Oil i should've been using

Tools used for Engine Rebuild

Just got this mig last night, instead of buying a logic motorsports header i'll be building my own. Planning to use jack myers collector and i'll do the rest.

Damn havent updated here in a while..
First Time drag racing sucked.. had no idea what i was doing lol
This was the slip, keep in my mind this was on a stock header..

and video

Then i bought the LMS header and off to dyno on pump 93

Went to the 1/8 to practice a bit, this was my best. Getting the hang of it

Next IFO, i pulled my PB of 11.9.

After that event i was tired of looking ugly. So i decided to try paint/bodywork for first time. I'm pretty happy with results.

Also picked this up for 100$
Got a 95mm crank for it as well. Thinking of a 300whp build but that's not for now..

Lastlyhad a retune done by Turbogixxer on e85, and going to IFO this weekend.
Hoping for a 11.7

Didn't have such a good event. Only good pass was another 11.9. After that it was all a bunch of redlights and crappy times. Needs driver mod

Here's the 11.9 pass

Here's a race against jaywest.
I just heard his two step and decided, **** it I'm out lol

Looking forward to going to local 1/8 for more practice
