So im looking into getting back in teh honda game and i found a 97EK hatch with no motor but with full 99-00 SI conversion dash, wiring and front end etc. So basicly 99si with 97 chassy if that make better sence

The car is barred for a B16a and since it has no motor. I would like to put in a B18C or B16B motor leaning towards B16B and hope tech misses the B in the engine code lol

*** My ? is the ECU for emission here in CA. So all i need to run a 98 USDM ITR ECU would be use a OBD2B to OBD2A jumper harness and im good? If memory serves me right JDM motors are OBD1 and dont have US EGR/EVAP so will the USDM ECU throw a code.
