What is the difference between japanese civic 1.6 ils and UK version (d16y3)?
i dont know what is the difference between the japanese honda civic 1.6 ils and the UK version of honda civic 1.6 ils (d16y3engine) -is the UK version not so good,or? Thanx

i have an civic d16y3 from 1996 and many says that this car wasn't so good like the japanese version,because of that im asking you.

As far as I can tell, the Japanese LS uses the D16Y7, whereas the EDM LS uses the D16Y3. The Y3 has vtec, the Y7 does not. Other than that, they're damn near the same motor, and are both about the same value.
