hey, i bought this car a while ago its a 94 integra with a b17a1 and i just noticed it has the wrong engine mount by the timing belt. its a 2 bolt one and its way to small , so whoever put it in they closed in the bracket when they tightened the cross bolt so now its hitting. I got a three bolt bracket and mount from the scap yard and when i bolted up the bracket it was to close to the rear of the car like its off seted, so i will not be able to bolt the mount to the bracket, Im not sure if there is a aftermarket mount for this. any ideas please help

 

You need a bracket from a '94 - '01 GS-R or ITR. The aluminum mount can be from any '94 - '01 Integra or '94 - '95 Civic EX/Si/VX model.

 

so the non vtec engine mount bracket are diffrent

 

Upon close investigation they aren't.

What trans is in it? If it's a cable trans that might be why it's not sitting right.

Btw, the B17A1 has the same external dimensions as a B16A, it's literally a B16A block and head with a different crank, rods and pistons (factory stroker basically) so the engine should fit just fine.

 

it has a rs manual hydraulic gearbox Y80 and i am trying to use a 3bolt mount and bracket from a 94-01 ls. I just went to toronto jdm and he told me the t bracket might not be for this car so i am going to try one of his mounts and bracket. The weird thing is my ac bracket doesnt line up either and its for this car, i think if fix the problem on top the ac bracket might line up. any ways ill tell u wats going on after i try the t bracket, thanks alot for the help.
