Converting a HX O2 sensor plug to 4 pin?
Car is a 98 Honda Civic EX with a OBD1 B18B1.
I picked up a HX engine harness at a local junkyard because I don't have VTEC and all the extra plugs get annoying. I got it installed with no problems except for the O2 sensor plug.
The harness side of the plug on the HX harness is a 7 pin, while the plug on the sensor side is a 4 pin. I know the HX has some VTEC-E bullshit, and I am wondering if I can just cap off the extra 3 wires and convert it to a 4 pin?
