Hello HT!

I recently was in an accident with my 03 EP3 and I have an empty 00 Civic Cx im going to put the k20a3 into. Does anyone have a part # or website for a Carb legal hybrid header for the swap? Do I use a TSX header? I searched and cant seem to find it. Hasport website shows hybrid headers but they dont say carb legal. Did they just not add it?

Can I use the Carb AEM cold air intake for civic si in my EK?

Also will I be able to use my stock Civc Cx Airbags with the K20 ECU? Will I get SRS error code?

I know since the K20 has a returnless fuel system that you need to run a fuel pressure regulator. Do they have carb legal FPR's? (don't think so) I thought it was illegal to put those on our cars.I read on a post you might be able to just use a high flow fuel pump with no regulator? I dunno...

Any links to people with the same setup that got it bar'd in Cali would be helpful to me as well. Allot of writeups do not list part #'s too bad!

Wow the referee called me back and told me there has never been a barred k20 in an EK civic. Thats hard to believe he said I would be the first. WTF?

 

you have to transfer the entire EVAP system from an rsx/ep into your car if you want to be CARB legal. that includes the entire gas tank assembly and more.

I could answer all your questions if you didn't live in California. I will answer one.

Also will I be able to use my stock Civc Cx Airbags with the K20 ECU? Will I get SRS error code? You'll be fine as far as the airbags go, nothing to worry about as long as everything is done correctly. You don't even have to touch the airbags.

 

It's been done. there was one guy who did it, that I know off.

Had to put the RSX gas tank and all kinds of crap in the car.

Yes I would, if it was all I had to get from A to B. Then the car would be ready for another K later if he wanted to do that.

Yep I already had it. I decided it was too much work however and just slapped a B18b1 in it for now. If I feel like being a rebel I'll go LS/V or Homemade Turbo!

But yeah transfering all that evap gas tank crap would suck! Unless you have a K20a2! Peace yall have a good one!
