swapped a d16a6 into a 95 cx using the cx ecu, will it put out enough fuel?
I recently swapped a d16a6 out of a friends parts car (1990 civic ex) into my 95 civic cx because the motor was knockin something fierce and was on its way out. I used a intake manifold and injectors out of a 93 Si, dizzy off of the cx, and ecu off of the cx.
Its running fine, my main concern is fuel. Will the CX ecu put out enough fuel with the Si injectors in it? If not can I use a fuel pressure regulator to bump up the fuel pressure as a fix or do I need to get the ECU remapped? I dont have the funds to get the car on a dyno w/ a wideband so I can really see how its doing, and I dont want to kill the motor by possibly running it lean. Thanks for any advice.

well the injectors are the same, but maybe the p05 ECU had little less gas on the maps, but I had an A6 with 92 95 Si Intake manifold, and i had a 4-1 header, 2.25 exhaust and I for the ECU I just had a "mugen" chip from ebay on the stock cx ECU (the p05) and it runs awesome, 15.3 @88 on the only time i go to the 1/4 mile, after that i broke the tranny, and then change into a d16z6
I dont know if all the "mugen" chips for p05 on ebay are the same, you know because they call it "MUGEN" but thats bull ****, hehehe
But if you dont have money you can run it with the stock p05, you wont broke the engine

my advice.... pick up Crome basic (free) manually convert the A6 basemap into OBD1 format (free), chip your ECU (DIY ~$10) and burn the map into the chip. (~$50 burner) Plug everything in and you have a honda map.
logically you can simply up the fuel at the rail ~5psi and you should be ok. But your idle is probably going to be poor and the ignition maps are not going to be right.

I have a 95 cx with a d16a6 in it. I have an si intake manifold and injectors. I got the car dynoed to see if the air/fuel ratio was good, and it was. I am still running the cx ecu, it has a chip off of ebay in it (not sure which one). The chip isn't hooked up though because the car runs pretty bad with it (lots of smoke and a really high rev limiter which makes me nervous).
