valve cover paint question

Icon2 valve cover paint question

iam looking to paint my valve cover gold but was wondering if i need a high temp spray paint or can i just use a good quality spray paint.

I used good quality spray paint then a high temp clear and baked it in the oven

Use high temp spray. Did mine 6 months ago and no peeling.

Get something with epoxy in it if possible.

If you dont use high heat paint its gonna peel or bubble up until that high temp clear coat

High heat paint will last a lot longer.
