Default Is it ok to use nonheat paint on the valve cover?

Just wondering if people use non heat paint.. like regular paint on their valve covers?

oh must you use only the high temp stuff?

you'll be fine.

the paint i put on my VC's were just normal paint, but it had a high temp base coat.

if your conserned, just buy a can of hight temp primer, or high temp flat black and put a base coat down first.

Yah it is ok i used normal duplicolor on mine
