Honda 1991 CRX Mugen Project
Hello everyone. Im starting a new project on a 1991 Honda CRXsi V-tec and am having some issues with parts for the upgrade to a mugen. I have a photograph of the car I would like to copy but having a tough time figuring out its body type in particular. Any help with listing the parts from the picture would be very helpful. Thank you

That picture you have linked is just a crx with a sticker. Mugen only made a handful of parts for the crx, most of them for looks imo
- body kit
-pedal covers
- steering wheel
- header
- cat back
- hatch spoiler
- wheel options
- valve cover
- certain vtec engine internals
- engine mounts
- struts/coils
- suspension bushings
There are a few other i'm sure, but the parts i mentioned above would cost you probably 20g's. I doubt you will do it, but that's what you can budget for, just on parts alone

Thanks for response. 20gs..not the problem there. But yes it's looking very difficult finding the parts. I've practicly contacted about 20 mugen parts distributors both in japan and the states, and everyone keeps telling me the parts are discontinued. I dont buy that they dont have the kit atleast. Im thinking of using touge distribution for finding the parts. Any leads on descent agents within touge? They seem reliable from what ive read in some forum threads and should definitely be able to locate some parts in the JDM. Cheers.
ALL of these parts are discontinued, including the EF8 kit. These have been for nearly 20 years. You might have some luck checking with collectors on certain parts, but I know a few people who have been looking for years for that complete kit. The rest will just come with patience, time and a gang of cash in hand.
Good luck with the search, looking forward to seeing what you find!

The only thing that is worth it to me, would be the rims. I couldn't even find a good set of those. Other than that, all the parts I have ever come across have been broken, cracked, rusted, repainted, missing parts or something else. Nothing as clean as the image of your rex.
Also be careful, there are a couple threads stating real vs fake mugen parts. Look at those.

Looks like it's just a 16v/VT with some kind of wheels and mugen sticker on the side.. lol
The mugen kit shouldn't be hard getting it if you're in Europe though. I've seen many Uk people with real kits.
