Icon2 Wheel Bend

Hey HT,
Just posting this thread wondering if I could get some help.
Ive been looking for some wheels and I came across these SSR Type-C's.
In general I love the style and look of the wheels, but the wheels that I am looking to buy have 1 bend on the lip of the wheel.
Heres a picture, I was wondering if you guys would be able to help me and come to a conclusion if they are still drivable and wont cause me any problems.

That bend is repairable. It'd cost you about $70 - $100 for the repair at most alloy wheel repair shops. I wouldn't drive on those wheels before repairing them, though.

Thanks! I thought the same thing, but I also thought it wasnt that bad of a bend to worry about for a while.

The problem is he'd have to repaint them after it gets repaired, which will drive up the price considerably.

Honestly I don't think the bend looks very bad, I personally think you could drive on that, but I'd check with a tire shop to be certain.

Bends on that area of a wheel can cause sealing issues for the tire so it really isnt a good idea to drive on it thats not to say I havent done it in the past but you are taking a chance.

I had a set of type c's you will love those wheels. make sure you can fix them before you buy them though! If you get a chance, pick one up without a tire mounted to it they are light as F*CK
