the site just gives a diameter for the tip. thats really helpful and all but id rather know what size the piping from the cat-back is...

most likely no bigger than 60mm if it's meant for a sohc honda..u may even be more unlucky and get like 57mm.. the universal one has a 60mm piping for the muffler itself and 90mm tip...but as seen from the HKS Hyper exhaust they do use 55mm piping for the sohc honda ej6 htbks..so your looking at approx 2 1/8inch to 2 1/4 inch at best unless u get crazy and get the larger turbo version N1s

 

thats why i was asking. im trying to find a turbo sized exhaust 2.5-3.0 that utilizes a silencer.

APEXi N1 piping is not 2.5" diameter. It is 60mm, aprx. 2.38" diameter piping. Most of the aftermarket exhausts like GReddy, Tanabe, DC, APEXi, Skunk2/RSR use 60mm piping. I believe Thermal R&D uses 2.25"...

 

the only true system that can be bought is the Thermal which comes with either 2.5inch or 3inch piping.. other than that greddy does make I believe a 70mm PE2 exhaust but only for the GSR and only a few vendors carry that system in the US

btw: if its anything less than 2.5" i dont see what the point.
