From what I've heard its not worth it on headers as it keeps so much heat in that the header is prone to cracking. Hopefully someone on here can verify this for us but I'd say no need for it.

i've also heard that in the long run, header wrap does more harm than good because it traps so much heat in.

i dunno..............i've had header wrapped on my header for over 2 years............it's still there and does it's job.....i need to re-wrap it because it's all cut up and falling apart becauase it's been on and off so many times...........it works good for keeping the under the hood heat down especially on these small 4 cylinder engines which suffer from the heat.........

i have my greddy stainless steal headers wrapped. it's been wrapped for 3yrs and i've never had a problem. it kept the engine bay nice and cool. i'm using fiberglass insulation with 3M aluminum tape on my headers. only spent 7 dollars on the mod.
