Default Header Wrap?

Anyone know if header wrap is good for any real hp gains?

In addition to keeping it a little cooler under the hood, I heard it makes the exhaust flow faster?

I remember this was discussed a long time ago. They concluded that it does help keep the header hotter and improve flow, but at the sacrifice of the header itself. ie, the header has to sustain a lot of heat for a long period of time, which breaks it down.

Which is why you should do HPC coat or JetHot coating. I have JetHot coating on mine and like it. Think it was worth it.
