First of all im not accusing the guy of having stolen parts ! I don’t know him and im just thinking out loud but it kills me to see civic built with so many type R parts and specially with a badge number ! Im sorry to the owner if he is in this site I would gladly remove the link if it offends anybody.

So as a type r owner Im always come across these civic with so many type r parts and it gets me sad because in reality we don’t know if they where bought legal or not but this hatch has all USDM R parts and in most cases there stolen if you pay attention to the interior picture there still a badge on the center console you can see the gray corner of it if you zoom in. omg **** stress me out and scare me to loose my R. some one local should check it out maybe we can find a stolen R owner there parts. And again im sorry if it is all legal and it was built from a wrecked R.

Yes indeed it does raise an eyebrow. Although I own a CW civic hatchback that is very similar in the aspect of various ITR parts. I do have verification of the donor car which was totaled while in action on the track. I suspect other people think the same of me/my car if they dont know me.

 

unless all the pieces were from different, parted/salvaged ITRs.. this screams theft.

 

Yeah, its shady but whatcha gonna do. 99 percent chance that He could have owned a type R it got totaled and he moved all the stuff over who knows.

unless the parts have the vin number etched or engraved in them, can't do anything about it. Used type R parts gets passed through so many hands, you prob wont be able to trace back to the original owner who sold the part.

Its funny how much weight the "Type R" name carries in the Honda world. I pop my hood at the track and kids start drooling over the fact I have a JDM type R swap. The guy next to me can have a much more powerful/faster built GSR swap and nobody cares.

I'm just reading the bottom numbers on the chart and didn't even see the 193.4.
