walboro fuel pump

I just pump a 255 in my car. However the locking thing for the filter broke off, so i'm not running one. Will this be harmful? I have a brand new fuel filter installed. Also it is considerable more audible then the oem one.

you need to install the filter sock on the pump. otherwise sediment from the tank is going to cause premature failure.

it is normal for the pump to be much louder than stock
