Default ecu questions

Ok I've been searching and i can't find the exact answer to my question so please don't flame me too much:

I have a 95 del sol with a b16a2 swapped in. I am in the final step of turbo charging it. I am down to engine management and i was going to order a p28 with hondata s300 preinstalled. i went to go double check to make sure which ecu i had stock. I have a p30 obd2a. Will the p28 with the s300 preinstalled work? will the obd2a to obd1 harness the only additional thing i need to get running right (a proper basemap too of course). Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes you need the p28 with Hondata and the obd2a to obd1 conversion harness

When i purchased the car a few months ago the previous owner told me the engine came from a 97 integra. Thats why i was so confused with the obd1/obd2a.

Where did you happen to order it from? And you got the Hondata s300V2 correct?

i can understand and obd2 p30 since obd1 p30's are almost impossible to find. but a b16a2 came out of a 97 integra??? thats the strange part

either way, it does appear that the car has a obd2a cabin harness so you will need a jumper harness to use the hondata obd1 ecu.
