Fan wont shut off?
Wuttup fellas....ok I searched this site for fan related issues and everyone I tryin to get fan to turn on and I'm tryin to get it to turn off! Lol it's on constantly when the key is turned to "on" position. I have a 94 Ls wit obd 1 lsvtec fully built/boosted wit Jdm front. It's a mishimoto half sized radiator wit spal fan. Ummm I switched out thermostat from autozone
cuz I tested original 1 and it didn't open/close in boiling pot of water.

The entire swap I had it n another teg, bought this 1 wit Jdm front and put setup n it. N previous car it was wired straight to batt and had a yellow wire just stuck n to a clip from harness on car. When I swapped setups, it had the oem clips and plugs so I'm tryin to put it bak like normal. I just cut clip from oem radiator and matched blue wire wit blue wire and yellow wit yellow, plugged it n. fan came on after car warmed up, never shuts off till car turns off.....smh lol
yea mine has been doing that also. i haven't tested anything yet so i am of no help right now, But my fan does come on whenever the car is started or just when the key is in the ON position, and then only turns off when everything is shut down.
So the rad fan does not turn on untill engine temp. up, but once on it will not turn off untill ign. is turned off, is that correct?
If so you ave either a "sticky" rad fan relay, or some kind of "feed-back" to the rad fan relay, possibly a bad ECT switch.
Unplug the rad fan relay and plug it back in, is fan still on?
If so, unplug the ECT switch, does rad fan turn off?
If so, replace the ECT switch. 94

No just the very first time I Plugged/wired it in and I turned the key to "on" position it was off. After it warmed up it turned on and since then has never turned off unles the key is turned to off.

The relay is good.
If you mean the black and green leads, [not black/green] then it is the ECT switch plug and if rad fan does not stop there is a short to ground on the green lead between the ECT switch and the rad fan relay, the ECT switch supplies the relas coil with a ground to turn it on, if the switch is unplugged then the relay must be getting a ground from someplace other then the ECT switch.
Trace the green lead from the ECT switch plug back to the rad fan relay in the engine bay fuse box. 94

Iono what u mean buy "leads" but yea I meant the Blk and green wired plug. Kinda n middle of head below vtec solenoid....only 1 n that area I found wit Blk and green wires
Ok, well I pulled the plug off, fan stayed runnin, threw check engine light. When I checked the codes, was 21 22 and 6....I know 21 and 22 vtec and 6 is ect so I guess I pulled the correct plug? Lol and the wires on it are blue wit yellow stripe, and yellow wit Blk stripe. But then out 6-8inchs back, they red/pink wit white line and other 1 green. Smh
The wires should be black and green, no tracers.
The ECT switch in on the thermostat housing, sounds like you pulled the plug for the ECT sensor which would give you a code 6. 94

Well my thermostat housing does not have any sensors on it....only a 10mm bolt with a ground coming out of it. My Blk n green wires are coming out of plug that's on vtec solenoid :/
Here is my 94 LS engine, gray plug with black and green leads plugged into ECT switch, on thermostat housing your saying you do not have that?
So what is in the hole that the switch is supposed to be in?
